Wallace Plese + Dreher welcomes three interns to the Firm’s tax department. Complimenting their educational backgrounds, our tax interns build real-life work experience by gaining knowledge of different clients’ businesses and industries. They develop organizational skills, oral and written acumen, and teambuilding. They assist tax staff and managers with preparation of entity and individual tax returns; perform tax research; and provide data verification critical for tax preparation. After graduation, most tax interns pursue a career in public accounting.
Kitana Apante is pursuing a Bachelor of Science, Accountancy, from Arizona State University, W.P. Carey School of Business. She will be graduating in May 2026. Kitana’s hobbies include ballroom dance, ice skating, scrapbooking, and cooking.
Erica Masuyama is graduating in May 2024 and will receive a Bachelor of Science, Accountancy, from Arizona State University, W.P. Carey School of Business. Erica enjoys crocheting and knitting.
Ryan Xie is graduating in December 2024 and will receive a Bachelor of Science, Accountancy, from Arizona State University, W.P. Carey School of Business. In addition to English, Ryan speaks Mandarin Chinese. In his free time, Ryan enjoys hiking Camelback Mountain, experiencing nature, and organizing student events. On January 1, 2024, he organized 20 students to participate in the 5K Sunrise Running Tempe Town Lake event.
